You’re probably reading the title of this post with some mild apprehension. “Ugh, not another post about pink-brown, ‘your lips but better,’ or Kylie Jenner-inspired lipsticks.” Well it’s going to be a little different this time around. After this post you will be able to easily decided which lipstick to rock on certain days and for specific events.
I’ve tested the most popular lipsticks shades and formulas against one another to find the best and most affordable ones Here are my reviews of each one, rated from worst to best.
#5: L’Oréal Infallible Le Rouge in Tender Berry
(Best lipstick if you like berry-toned nudes)
Its moderately moisturizing, lasts about 1.5 hours, slightly enhances lip wrinkles, slight pigment buildup and only needs a single layer
#4: Wet n Wild MegaLast Lipstick in 912C In The Flesh
(Best lipstick if you’re on a makeup budget)
cap easily cracks, moderately tugs on lips, pigment becomes drier and therefore slightly enhances lip lines and its 100% worth its price.
#3: Covergirl Colorlicious Lipstick in 265 Romance Mauve
(Best lipstick for channeling your inner late ’90s/early ’00s girl)
glides on smooth, lasts about 2 hours, highly moisturizing, smells really good, it looks nearly the same as when it was applied after setting, its not easily transferred to food.
